Check out the show review on Art of Texas' forum:

great show for me from a sales point of view, but boy, was it fun!
November, 2007 - Red coral is Too Precious
to Wear - A new campaign to increase awareness in the fashion and
design industryaptly titled
"Too Precious To
Wear" has been launched by
SeaWeb, one of
the Coral Reef Alliance's
allies in the reef conservation movement. This high-profile campaign is all
the more important in light of the recent failure to obtain a certification
under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES)
for threatened and endangered corals. Why it didn't pass: The United States
is the primary consumer of red coral jewelry!

October 20, 2005 - WARNING! Fake art being
sold on eBay! - Paintings are being sold on eBay and other auction sites
that are mass-produced in factories. The people doing the work are trained
to paint the same painting over and over, or to paint one element, such as
the sky, and then the painting is handed to the next person to paint a tree
and so on. Read Pauline's article on Art Scams, Art
Fraud, Fake Art, Mass-produced and Paintings to learn more about issues affecting the
livelihood of artists in America, and how you as an art
collector can help.
October 1, 2005 - Limited edition prints
chosen for St. David's Hospital - Five 22"x30" limited edition giclee
prints of Pauline's
Marine
Life Watercolor Paintings were chosen to decorate the walls of St.
David's Hospital's Neonatal Care Unit in Austin, Texas. These happy,
colorful prints will hopefully lift the spirits of the parents and families
of the tiny babies struggling to survive premature birth. UPDATE: in
October, 2008, a father brought his preemie to meet me at one of my art
shows, and told me how much they appreciated having my paintings there
during the long months the baby was being cared for. This miracle baby was
so healthy, happy and precious, it really warmed my heart!
August, 2004 - Paintings Commissioned for
the Fontainebleau Hilton Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida - The
Fontainebleau is undergoing a major redesign and expansion, and has
commissioned artworks to decorate the new hotel wing. For the project,
Pauline created two photo-realistic acrylic paintings on canvas of blue and
white beach umbrellas, each measuring 2'x6'. Unfortunately, the beautiful
Richard Haas mural that was a Miami Beach landmark for so many years was
demolished to make way for the new addition. Needless to say, it is an
incredible honor for Pauline to have her work chosen for display in this
famous hotel. 1'x3' giclee prints on gallery wrapped canvas are available.
