In this painting, I wanted to capture the
classic beauty of a Key West style tropical beach house with hibiscus
flowers, palm trees and white picket fence. The model photo I used for
the painting was actually taken on Harbour Island in the Bahamas, but
the painting is meant to be a beach house one might see anywhere. When
people ask me where it is I say "wherever you want it to be", but most
people are reminded of Key West, and that's just fine with me! |
